A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer, tablet or phone. Similar techniques, such as local storage in your browser, are covered by the same term in this cookie policy.
This website belongs to DaglichtDesign B.V., Donkervoorterweg 12-02, 3771 RS Barneveld, the Netherlands. If you have questions about cookies, email privacy@daglichtdesign.nl.
By default the site only uses the functional storage needed to make the website work, such as remembering your cookie choice. No consent is required for this.
Statistics and marketing cookies are only placed once you give consent yourself. As long as you make no choice or decline, no tracker or pixel is loaded at all.
On your first visit a cookie banner appears with three categories. Necessary is always on. Statistics and marketing are off by default. You can accept all, decline all or choose per category. Declining is just as easy as accepting.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. The four signals ad_storage, analytics_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to denied by default. Only when you give consent are they updated for the category you choose. We record your choice with the date, so we can show what you chose.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time. To do so, click the Cookie settings link in the footer at the bottom of every page of this website. This opens the same choice screen you saw on your first visit.
Withdrawing takes as many clicks as giving consent: switch the category off and save your choice. If you withdraw your consent, we stop using those cookies straight away, pass the denied signal on to the services involved and delete the cookies already placed for that category.
Necessary. Name: dps_consent. Purpose: remembers your cookie choice and the date you made it, so the banner does not return on every visit. Retention: 12 months. Always active.
Statistics, only with consent. Name: _ga and _ga_*. Purpose: Google Analytics, anonymous visitor statistics showing which pages are viewed, to improve the site. Retention: 2 years.
Marketing, only with consent. At the moment the website places no marketing cookies. If we start using them later, we will list them here with name, purpose and retention period, and ask for your consent first.
The fonts on this website are hosted on our own server. So nothing is sent to Google or any other font service when the page loads.
A map or video from an external service only loads once you click it yourself. Until that click you see a still image and nothing from that service is loaded.
You can also delete cookies yourself through your browser settings. Bear in mind that the website will then forget your cookie choice and the banner will appear again on your next visit.
We may update this cookie policy if we start using other cookies or if the rules change. The latest version is always on this page. This version dates from September 2026.
