DaglichtDesign B.V., Donkervoorterweg 12-02, 3771 RS Barneveld. Last updated: September 2026.
DaglichtDesign B.V. makes bespoke glass roof lanterns in its own workshop in Barneveld. We are responsible for processing the personal data you give us through this website. This privacy statement explains which data that is, why we use it, how long we keep it and which rights you have.
Our details: DaglichtDesign B.V., Donkervoorterweg 12-02, 3771 RS Barneveld, the Netherlands. Phone +31 342 223 190, email info@daglichtdesign.nl. For questions or requests about your privacy, email privacy@daglichtdesign.nl.
If you request a quote or send us a message through the form, we process the data you enter yourself: your name, email address and phone number, the address or town of the project, the type of roof lantern you choose, any photos or drawings you attach and the content of your message.
If you contact us by phone or email, we process the data you give us in that call or email. We do not ask for more. So please do not enter data we do not need, such as your national identification number or payment details.
We only use your data to answer your enquiry, send you a quote and, if you place an order, carry out that order: production, delivery or collection, any installation by our regular installation partner, and invoicing.
The legal basis is the performance of a contract, or taking steps at your request before a contract exists. After an order, we also have a legal obligation for our records. We do not sell your data and do not share it with third parties for commercial purposes. We do not send you newsletters or advertising unless you have asked for them.
An enquiry that does not lead to an order is kept for a maximum of two years. That way we can find your request if you decide to go ahead later. After that we delete the data.
If you place an order, we keep the data that belongs to our records, such as the quote, order confirmation and invoice, for seven years. That is the retention period Dutch tax law requires.
For some tasks we use service providers. They only process data on our instructions and may not use it for their own purposes.
The form on this website runs through a form service (Formspree), which forwards your message and any attachments to our mailbox. The website itself is hosted by a hosting provider. If you order installation, we share the data needed for it with our regular installation partner.
To complete your address automatically in the form, we use the public PDOK Location Server of the Dutch Land Registry (Kadaster). Only the address text you type is sent to that service. No cookies are placed and no other data is sent.
The website uses a secure connection (https). Data you send through the form travels across the internet encrypted. Within our company, only the people who need your data for your enquiry or order have access to it.
If you think your data is not properly protected, or you see signs of misuse, please contact us straight away at privacy@daglichtdesign.nl.
You have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You can object to the processing, and you can ask to receive your data in a common file format or have it transferred to someone else.
Send your request to privacy@daglichtdesign.nl. We respond within one month. To make sure the request comes from you, we may ask you to identify yourself. Never send a copy of your ID unless we ask for it.
If you disagree with how we handle your data, we would like to hear from you first. You also always have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
This website only uses the functional storage needed to make the site work. Statistics and marketing cookies are only placed once you give consent through the cookie banner. Our cookie policy explains which cookies these are and how to change or withdraw your consent.
We may update this privacy statement, for example if we start using a different service provider or if the law changes. The latest version is always on this page. This version dates from September 2026.
