These terms apply to every quote, every agreement and every delivery by DaglichtDesign. By accepting a quote, you agree to these terms. Different arrangements only apply if we have agreed them with you in writing.
A quote is valid for 30 days. The price is based on the information you have given us, such as dimensions, photos, sketches or drawings. If the situation on site turns out to differ from that information, this may affect the price. We always discuss this with you before we go any further.
The lead times we give are indicative. We do our best to meet them, but exceeding them does not entitle you to compensation. If a delivery is delayed, we will let you know as soon as possible, with a new expected date.
When you place the order, you choose whether to collect the roof lantern from our workshop in Barneveld or have it delivered on an agreed date. If you collect the roof lantern yourself, the risk passes to you at the moment you collect it.
If you order installation, our regular installation partner carries it out. In that case the risk passes to you on completion on site. If you do not order installation, you are responsible for professional fitting in line with the installation manual supplied.
When you place the order, you pay a deposit of 30% of the quoted amount. You pay the remaining 70% on completion. The payment term is 14 days from the invoice date, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.
If you do not pay on time, we will first send you a reminder. If payment still does not follow, we may charge the statutory interest and reasonable collection costs, within the limits set by law.
Every roof lantern is made to measure especially for you, based on your dimensions and choices. The law excludes the right of withdrawal for products made to the consumer's specifications. So once you, as a consumer, have approved an order for bespoke work, you cannot cancel or return it free of charge.
Check the roof lantern on delivery or collection for visible damage and for the correct dimensions and finish. If something is not right, report it within a reasonable period after you discover it, preferably with photos.

Our liability is limited to the invoice amount of the order concerned. We are never liable for indirect loss, such as consequential loss, loss of profit or delays in a building schedule. This limitation does not apply if the damage was caused by intent or deliberate recklessness on our part, or to the extent the law does not permit a limitation.
The roof lantern supplied remains our property until you have paid the full amount.
All quotes and agreements are governed by Dutch law. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, it will be brought before the competent court in the Netherlands.
