Roof lantern Ugchelen, light in a deep living room

A bungalow often has a single storey and a flat or shallow-pitched roof. The middle of the house, the hallway or the dining area therefore gets little daylight. A mono-pitch roof lantern in the flat roof solves that without changing the walls. The aluminium frame is available in any RAL colour and the glass is HR++ double glazing as standard.

The roof lantern is connected watertight to EPDM or bitumen and is load-rated to NEN standards for snow and wind. Do have your builder assess whether the roof can carry the new opening and the weight.

Collection or delivery

From Ugchelen you drive to the workshop in Barneveld in about half an hour. Collecting it yourself saves delivery charges, but a roof lantern of a few metres needs a large trailer. Delivery on an agreed date is then often simpler. Installation is done by your own builder; installation on request through a regular installation partner appears as a separate line in the quote.
