Collect a roof lantern in Barneveld: what you need

A roof lantern is large and heavy. Double glazing weighs roughly 20 to 30 kilos per square metre, triple glazing more, and the frame comes on top. You will not collect a roof lantern of several metres in the boot of a car.

Transporting and storing safely

Make sure the roof lantern lies stable and cannot slide, with blankets between glass and load bed. Never tighten straps directly over the glass. Drive calmly and avoid braking hard. Glass can take a knock, but not a blow to its edge.
